CURRENTLY...
While working on her degree, Emilie has been offered the opportunity to work at Wegmans Food Markets as a Project Management Co-Op. She is now working with many multi-disciplinary teams on different projects ranging from IT to Uniform outsourcing to helping the company adhere to new government regulations for safer, healthier produce. She strives to continue helping put our customers first and create warm, rich products.
PAST EXPERIENCE...
During her graduate studies, Emilie worked as the Graduate Assistant for Major Student Events under the direction of the Associate Director of Major Student Events. In this position, she helped plan, coordinate, and execute major weekend events such as FallFest, FreezeFest, and SpringFest. For these events, Emilie worked with outside vendors, balanced budgets, and helped enforce campus-wide policies.
Between pursuing her degrees, she worked down in Florida at the Walt Disney World Company as a Disney College Program Intern. Within a year, she worked in multiple merchandise locations and became a Trainer at Port Orleans Resort. She was focused on creating magical memories for guests from all over the world.
During her undergraduate studies, Emilie worked at MAGIC Spell Studios as the Student Producer. She assisted the Production Associate with the game, That Damn Goat, which is now available for purchase on Steam. She also led productions with outside client work.
During her time at RIT, Emilie produced three 3D Animated short films, a virtual-production short film with the use of motion-capturing, and a multitude of short dance films with the on-campus hip-hop team, Velocity RIT's Urban Dance Crew. She has been credited as the Producer, Creative Director, Animator, Camera Operator, Gaffer, Compositor, and multiple other roles.
Outside of the set, Emilie was Captain of Velocity RIT's Urban Dance Crew. She created semester-long practice schedules that changed weekly due to the team being hired to perform or dance at local charity events. During her time here, she was a part of the team that created their first annual dance short film, Nobody But You. With all of these moving pieces, her main goal always stayed the same. For every person to come in feeling welcomed and encouraged to try their best and have fun.
